In addition, there will be code orange tonight and tonight for heavy thunderstorms in the (south)east. Code yellow applies in the rest of the country. Tonight the sun will shine first in many places. In the northwest there will be more cloud cover and some thunderstorms. From the south, the chance of heavy thunderstorms increases, especially in the (south)east with heavy wind gusts of up to 100 km/h, large hailstones and flooding. There will be a weak to moderate wind from a northerly direction.Tonight a few thunderstorms will occur first. In the east these may be heavy thunderstorms, possibly with heavy gusts of wind, large hailstones and flooding. The minimum temperature is around 20°C, a few degrees higher in the big cities. The wind can only blow hard during showers, otherwise there is little wind.Tomorrow morning there will be sunny periods and the chance of a shower is small. During the morning a weak to moderate westerly wind will arise. Tomorrow afternoon the sun will shine often and there may be a few strong thunderstorms in the (south)east. The afternoon temperature ranges from 27°C in the west to 32°C in the east. The wind comes from the west and is moderate, later quite strong along the southwest coast. Tomorrow evening the sun will dominate. There are more clouds in the east and along the eastern border there is still a chance of an occasional rain or thunderstorm. First the wind is mainly moderate from the west, later in the evening there is little wind.

Waarschuwingen  Tot halverwege de avond WEERALARM (code rood) voor extreme hitte in het (uiterste) oosten en zuidoosten. In Utrecht, Groningen en Drenthe geldt code oranje voor de hitte, in de rest van het land code geel. Daarnaast is er vanavond en vannacht code oranje voor zware onweersbuien in het (zuid)oosten. In de rest van het land geldt hiervoor code geel. Vanavond schijnt de zon eerst op veel plaatsen. In het noordwesten is er meer bewolking en zijn er enkele onweersbuien. Van het zuiden uit neemt de kans op stevige onweersbuien toe, met name in het (zuid)oosten mogelijk met zware windstoten tot 100 km/u, grote hagelstenen en wateroverlast. Er staat een zwakke tot matige wind uit een noordelijke richting.Vannacht komen er eerst nog enkele onweersbuien voor. In het oosten kunnen dit zware onweersbuien zijn, mogelijk met zware windstoten, grote hagelstenen en wateroverlast. De minimumtemperatuur ligt rond de 20°C, in de grote steden enkele graden hoger. Alleen bij buien kan het hard waaien, verder is er weinig wind.Morgenochtend zijn er zonnige perioden en is de kans op een bui klein. In de loop van de ochtend steekt er een zwakke tot matige westelijke wind op. Morgenmiddag schijnt de zon vaak en kan er in het (zuid)oosten een enkele stevige onweersbui ontstaan. De middagtemperatuur loopt uiteen van 27°C in het westen tot 32°C in het oosten. De wind komt uit het westen en is matig, later langs de zuidwestkust vrij krachtig. Morgenavond overheerst de zon. In het oosten is er meer bewolking en langs de oostgrens is er eerst nog kans op een enkele regen- of onweersbui. Eerst waait het overwegend matig uit het westen, later op de avond is er weinig wind.
