Tonight the rain will spread further across the country from the south. In the northern half of the country (wet) snow falls at the end of the evening. It will probably remain dry in Groningen. The wind will blow from the southeast and will be moderate, on the coast the wind will increase to quite strong or powerful, wind force 5 or 6.Tonight it will snow heavily in the north and northeast. There falls 5-10 cm of snow in most places, locally more. Strong winds increase the chance of snowdrifts there, and snow dunes can cause a lot of traffic disruption, especially in the far north. In the rest of the country there are periods of rain. The minimum temperature is between -1°C in the north and 2°C in the south. In the north the easterly wind increases to fairly strong to strong, wind force 5 to 6, in the Wadden area to strong, wind force 7. In the rest of the country the wind is southeasterly and mainly moderate.Tomorrow morning it will be cloudy and there will be snow in the north, although it will gradually snow less heavily. A lot of inconvenience to traffic is expected, with the risk of impassable roads due to snow dunes. In the rest of the country it rains in many places. In the north a (fairly) strong wind blows from the east, in the Wadden area it blows hard, wind force 7. In the rest of the country the wind blows mainly moderately from different directions. Tomorrow afternoon it will remain cloudy and it will snow, especially in the north. Elsewhere it mainly rains, but gradually (wet) snow also occurs in more and more places. In the north the temperature is around freezing point, later a few degrees below that. In the southwest it will still be 5°C. In the north the wind is moderate to quite strong, in the northern coastal area it is strong to hard, from the (north) east. There is still a lot of disruption possible due to drifting snow with a risk of snow dunes. In the rest of the country the wind is mainly moderate from various directions. Tomorrow evening Snow will fall in most places, with precipitation likely to continue to fall as rain in the southwest. In the northern half the wind blows from the northeast and is moderate over land. In the northern coastal area the wind is quite strong to hard, wind force 5-7, with a chance of snowdrifts there. Elsewhere, the wind blows moderately from the northwest.

Waarschuwingen  Komende nacht en morgenochtend sneeuw en harde wind in het noorden van het land. Hiervoor geldt code oranje. Elders plaatselijke gladheid, code geel. Vanavond breidt de regen zich vanuit het zuiden verder over het land uit. In de noordelijke helft van het land valt aan het einde van de avond (natte) sneeuw. In Groningen blijft het waarschijnlijk nog droog. De wind gaat uit het zuidoosten waaien en is matig, aan de kust neemt de wind toe naar vrij krachtig of krachtig, windkracht 5 of 6.Vannacht gaat het in het noorden en noordoosten flink sneeuwen. Daar valt op de meeste plaatsen 5-10 cm sneeuw, plaatselijk meer. Door een stevige wind neemt de kans op sneeuwjacht daar toe, vooral in het uiterste noorden kunnen sneeuwduinen voor veel verkeershinder zorgen. In de rest van het land zijn er perioden met regen. De minimumtemperatuur ligt tussen -1°C in het noorden en 2°C in het zuiden. In het noorden neemt de oostenwind toe naar vrij krachtig tot krachtig, windkracht 5 tot 6, in het Waddengebied naar hard, windkracht 7. In de rest van het land is de wind zuidoostelijk en overwegend matig.Morgenochtend is het bewolkt en valt er in het noorden sneeuw, hoewel het wel geleidelijk minder hard gaat sneeuwen. Er wordt veel overlast voor het verkeer verwacht, met kans op onbegaanbare wegen door sneeuwduinen. In de rest van het land regent het op veel plaatsen. In het noorden waait een (vrij) krachtige wind uit het oosten, in het Waddengebied waait het hard, windkracht 7. In de rest van het land waait het overwegend matig uit verschillende richtingen. Morgenmiddag blijft het bewolkt en vooral in het noorden sneeuwt het. Elders valt vooral regen, maar geleidelijk komt er op steeds meer plaatsen ook (natte) sneeuw voor. In het noorden ligt de temperatuur rond het vriespunt, later enkele graden daaronder. In het zuidwesten wordt het nog 5°C. In het noorden waait het matig tot vrij krachtig, in het noordelijk kustgebied krachtig tot hard, uit het (noord)oosten. Daar is nog veel hinder mogelijk door stuifsneeuw met kans op sneeuwduinen. In de rest van het land waait het overwegend matig uit uiteenlopende richtingen. Morgenavond valt op de meeste plaatsen sneeuw, in het zuidwesten blijft de neerslag waarschijnlijk als regen vallen. In de noordelijke helft waait de wind uit het noordoosten en is deze boven land matig. In het noordelijk kustgebied waait het vrij krachtig tot hard, windkracht 5-7, met daar nog kans op sneeuwjacht. Elders waait het meest matig uit het noordwesten.
