Vanochtend is er vrij veel bewolking en een gebied met neerslag trekt het zuiden van het land binnen. In het zuiden en midden valt er regen en is er, met uitzondering van Zeeland en het zuiden van Limburg, een kleine kans dat het gaat ijzelen met gladheid tot gevolg. In het noorden blijft het in de ochtend nog droog. De wind komt uit het oosten en is matig, aan de kust en boven het IJsselmeer vrij krachtig tot krachtig, windkracht 5 tot 6. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het in het noorden zeer koud aanvoelt, met een gevoelstemperatuur die rond -12 °C ligt. Vanmiddag gaat ook in het noorden neerslag vallen. Elders schijnt de zon. De maximumtemperatuur ligt in het noordoosten van Groningen dichtbij het vriespunt, In het zuiden wordt het plaatselijk 11°C. De wind komt uit het zuidoosten en is matig.
